Meet the Doctor
Dr. Lauren Huntington – Dentist and Owner
I have been around dentistry my whole life. At a young age, I began assisting my dad, a now-retired endodontist, as well as several other dentists which continued throughout my college years. After graduating from Lafayette College, I moved to New York City to pursue post-graduate degrees. I earned a degree in dental hygiene and worked as a hygienist before and during my doctoral training at NYU College of Dentistry, where I graduated in 2016. Following graduation, I completed my residency at Hackensack University Medical Center and spent the next few years as a member of their medical staff as an attending dentist. I have been practicing dentistry in NY and NJ for the past 6 years.
In July 2022, I acquired the newly named “Smile Studio.” Since then, we have expanded our team and added new technology to our practice. I am an active member of the ADA, AGD, NJDA, and the Jersey Coast Dental Forum, a subsidiary of the Seattle Study Club. Our Smile Studio team is constantly striving to stay current with advances in dental techniques and working hard to ensure your time with us is comfortable, customized, and efficient.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Brian, and our two daughters, Hailey and Becca. We love to travel and adventure together!
Meet the Team
Kathy – Receptionist
Kathy was born and raised in Rumson, NJ. She is a retired LPN. She has 2 kids and 4 grandchildren. During her free time, she loves to travel, go to the beach and spend time with her friends and family.
Lori Guttadora – Dental Hygienist
Lori graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1998 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been a registered dental hygienist for 24 years and will ensure your regularly scheduled cleaning and check-up appointments are fun and comfortable! She lives in Middletown with her husband, Tom, her daughter, Graycee, and her dog, Duke. When Lori is not in the office she enjoys going to the gym, to the beach or pool, hanging out with friends, and driving her daughter to cheerleading or tumbling practice/competitions!
Taylor Germaine – Dental Hygienist
Taylor was born and raised in Monmouth County. She has 15+ years in the dental field originally starting out at the front desk, working her way up to a registered dental hygienist. Taylor graduated from Eastern International College in 2013 and has been helping patients of all ages achieve optimal oral health ever since. Outside of work Taylor enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Laura Petrella – Dental Assistant
Laura was born in Ocala, Florida and is currently living in Belford, New Jersey. She started her dental career in 2OOl and went to Clearwater Dental School and continued her education by receiving her x-ray license. Laura loves working in all fields of dentistry and her passion is making patients feel at ease and comfortable. When Laura is not at work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and her time at the beach.
